3 Ways to Spend Independence Day in California
July kicks off with a bang in California. There is an infectious celebratory spirit in the air and there is no shortage of festive activities in the Golden State. You may be wondering what these activities are, but that is what our Modesto limo service is here for. We have compiled a short list of some of our favorite events scheduled for this Independence Day and we hope they help you commence your summer in style.
As is the case with all major holidays in California, things can get a little hectic; the sun is out and so is everyone. You are bound to encounter a lot of human and vehicle traffic around the holidays and to ease the stress of moving from place to place, we recommend that you hire our California limousine service. Not only will you ride around in style but our trusted chauffeurs will also take the burden of navigating heavy traffic, finding alternate routes, and finding parking spots from you, leaving you to enjoy your Independence Day uninhibited.
Zedd
Are you an EDM fan? Well, California has a treat for you on the 3rd of July at the Los Angeles State Historic Park in Chinatown. German EDM artist Zedd, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, will be hosting an EDM mini-festival just a day before the actual Independence Day. Ticket are only going for $65 per head so gather all your mates and kick off summer with some epic dance tunes.
July 4th Fireworks in Marina del Rey
This annual event is one of a kind, there is just something about watching fireworks go off over the ocean that makes the experience even more special. Spectators get to watch this spectacle every year from Fisherman’s Village, the Burton Chase Park, Mother’s Beach, boats, and waterfront hotels in the area. To add to the experience, the fireworks have been synchronized to accompany the music. The fireworks show kicks off at 9 pm and will only last about 20 minutes, so you better get there on time or you will have to settle for next year.
AmericaFest
As the name suggests, the AmericaFest, which is scheduled to go down at the Rose Bowl Stadium is the embodiment of all things Red, White, and Blue. At this event you will get to enjoy classic American dishes, a motorcycle stunt show, and an amazing fireworks display that is set to happen right at the end of the festival. The Rose Bowl Stadium will open its gates at 2pm on the 4th of July and throughout the afternoon you and the family will have access to numerous inflatables, games and crafts, and a lot more family-friendly activities. Parking space will be going for only $20 per vehicle, so we suggest that you make the most of it by tailgating right outside the stadium gates. Make arrangements early and head on down to Pasadena on Independence Day for some authentic American fun.
