Father’s Day in California 2018
Research has proven that experiences make people happier than material possessions, but of course, we didn’t need research to tell us that. Therefore, as opposed to grabbing your dad that watch he has been eyeing at the mall, or that power tool that would complete his shed, why don’t you consider treating him to a full-on Father’s Day experience this year? ‘But how/where?’, you ask. Well, not to worry, our California limousine service took the privilege of compiling some of the most exciting Father’s Day events scheduled for this year in California.
To treat your dad like the king he is, hire an executive limousine from our Modesto limo service on the day of your outing and make it an experience to remember. Our professionally trained chauffeurs are skilled in the art of courtesy and hospitality and will have you and your old man feeling like royalty. All you need to do is enjoy the luxury of our vehicles and the company of your dad as you are transferred safely and promptly to any one of these amazing events.
Father’s Day Sail
Enjoy this unique adventure with your old man at the Maritime Museum in San Diego on the 17th of June. The museum has an experienced crew that will make your Father’s Day unforgettable as they show you how to work the lines and handle the sails on the pristine San Diego Bay waters. Each attendant will receive a bratwurst sandwich with fries, a cold beer (for adults), and a soft drink (for kids and anyone who doesn’t drink) before setting sail. Food will be served between 10am and 11:30am, so get there on time; the three-hour sail will commence shortly after that and will come to an end at approximately 3pm. Tickets for adults are going for $70, children between 3 and 12 will pay $50, and children under 2 will only pay $12.
Run in the Name of Love
If your dad takes an interest in physical health, this may be just the event for him. This unique event has been scheduled for the 17th of June and has been planned to offer runners and walkers an opportunity to pay tribute to the people they love. We recommend the 5K run for a full but not overly exhausting experience. Tag your dad along to the Carmel Historic Sunset Centre at exactly 8am to begin with other participants. The run will follow a coastal path alongside the sandy beaches and come to an end at Carmel’s Ocean Beach.
Father’s Day Concert and BBQ
Head over to Hotel Del Coronado for their annual Father’s Day Concert and barbeque. The event also honors veterans and active servicemen, so if your dad is, or has ever been, in the armed forces, he might particularly enjoy this event. Guests will enjoy delicious barbeque and drinks as they are entertained by music covers from renowned artists such as Bruno Mars and Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band, Kelly Clarkson, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, and more. The event kicks off at 11am and price ranges from admission range from $20 to $70.
