Take a Ride on the Bunny Train

If you are no longer into conventional egg hunts, you have come to the right place. Head over to the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo. The Bunny Train will take you and the kids for an hour long ride through the beautiful East County Mountains of San Diego. The Ester Bunny will tag along on the ride, hopping through the train and handing each kid a special treat. After the train ride, the kids can partake in an egg hunt, but you would have to confirm with the museum because the activities of each day vary. The Train rides are scheduled for the 24th, 25th, and 31st of March. Tickets go for $14 for children, $18 for adults, and $15 for seniors.

Easter at Hotel Del Coronado Egg Hunt

Well, no Easter festival is complete without a good-old egg hunt and one of these egg hunts is going down right here at the Iconic Hotel Del Coronado on the 1st of April. However, before you proceed to the egg hunt, the hotel is offering a bountiful Easter brunch in the Ballroom as well as the Crown room, complete with international cuisine, carving stations, live music, and free-flowing champagne. You will also get to take a photo with the Easter Bunny in the Patio. The egg hunts have been scheduled for 10am to 1pm and will be segregated by age groups. We strongly recommend that you make your reservations early to secure a spot before they are all booked.

Blessing of the Animals

‘Blessings of the Animals’ has been a procession conducted by the people of historic downtown Los Angeles ever since the Olvera Street was officially opened. This Easter celebration has been scheduled for the 31st of March and a decorated cow along with members of the Olvera Street Merchants Association will lead the procession this year. Flamboyantly decorated animals will then follow, passing by a priest who will administer blessings. The procession will begin at Father Serra Park at 12pm and will be led by Archbishop Jose Gomez. This is an event you have to witness at least once in your lifetime.
